so as many of you may or may not already know,
tomorrows (well technically todays)jogeetv topic is going to be THUNDERCATS!!!
here's what I plan on colouring up on the show.
jogeetv
FRIDAYS
8-10PM EST
1-3 AM GMT
5-7 PM Pacific


We will discuss the proper way to scan, prep and colour a traditionally inked piece with digital colours-Photoshop specifically.

so tune in and pass this on as well!

TOOLS USED(FAQ)
the pen is a Pentel brush pen-awesome
and the pencil is a Carmin Red Col Erase pencil
sharpener is crap-dont buy it lol
sketchbook is um...Cachet by Daler Rowney-or so it says on the back 8.5x11

QUESTION:My computer wich is the only one with a scanner is having low internet problems and my scanner has SEND SCAN TO EMAIL but it wont work any suggestions,and I would also like to know a few handy ways to use prismas

OMG OMG OMG!! :excited: Thunder Cats and and and...I've always wanted to get some tips to scan since I feel lot better doin'my lines traditional and just my colors are digital...
...But I might have to do some extra time time today (probably no more than 40 min, but still...:hmm:)... so Im not sure...

Oh Gawd, I hate my time zone!! :shakefist:...still, Im gonna try ta be there though...

Wow that looks amazing! I just wanted to ask, how do you manage to keep your inks so crisp and consistent? Does it have to do with the type of pen you are using? I find that my inks turn out very grainy under a scanner is that normal and if so do I have to go through any processes in photoshop to give it a more crisp look?

Again, you got amazing stuff man and I always look forward to what you have for us next!

if I'm inspired and things flow properly it speeds up a lot
This MummRa took maybe 2.5hours? inks included(i'm done-will post update tomorrow before i colour it on the show)

I'd love to try traditional inking, especially if it can look that badass. I only fear that coloring might take away from the black and white sometimes. :B

agreed-sometimes b&w looks better-sometimes even a sketch looks better than inks
